Great Update might have killed it

Events - main source of gems in the game - went down without prior announcement for a good half of the week, with a follow-up announcement that system is down to implement "improvements" to event system with "enriched events content" to provide "more enjoyable experience in events" (copied wording from official announcement). Well, events are up as promised, but with incredible crappy rewards, almost no gems at all, higher benchmark requirements, no variety AT ALL as far as we have observed. Our world chat is discussing mass-quit, because seriously, the "improvements" have just killed the game. Well done!
