The game itself is decent to play but its a rigged system. Earlier "kingdoms" in the game pay less money for in app purchases and they get in some cases 4-5 times the amount of goodies that a new person downloading the game and buying a pack would get. If you started this game in the beginning you are lucky, if you start the game now you dont get anywhere near what the oldest kingdoms get. Also their support is garbage, they take days to respond, most of the time they dont even answer why you have reached out to them nor do they fix issues that you are having. This game has some major concerns that for Apple to be carrying really concerns me. If you are considering this game, I would just forget it and move on to a more stable, reputable game.

Im putting this at 5 stars so you will see it. This game developer used footage from banished, for there advertising. This is shameful. You have caused people to buy this because you advertised it as banished. Not only is this shameful, this is ILLEGAL. I hope you get this app taken down. Do not buy this app from this criminal. Besides it is a horrible app anyway. Do. Not. Buy.

Lags and gem packs are too expensive. No updates from admins in over 2 months. DO NOT DOWNLOAD. THIS GAME TAKES MONEY TO PLAY AND THE MAKERS ARE NOT UP TO DATE. Game lags and logs you off every hour!!!! NOT RECOMMENDED

Notifications appear to break sound on phone calls. If on call and a notification comes in, no one can hear me talking and I have to disconnect the call and call them back. Really annoying.

Good game just slow updates

On four occasions I purchased a chest of gems that should have included bonus gems and other goodies. Only on one occasion was I provided with the items purchased. On the three other occasions I had to call for support. On two occasions Support eventually made a credit but it was very difficult to verify if all items were awarded. On the third occasion, one day ago, support asked for a receipt which actually Apple disallows as it includes personal data. They have also dragged their feet on righting the issue. Either they have buggy code in their app or they are set this up as a a way to fleece the unwary. I am waiting to see if they actuallyy do anything or whether this needs to escalate

You can buy shields to protect your city while you re away but they dont work and you lose everything. Customer support is horrible. Save your time and money and move on.

This is an absolutely worthless game with developers who are bent only on making money and screwing the players. Do not waste your time, you will be highly disappointed by the entirely pay to win aspect of the game

Before the Devs "fixed" the events, everyone could make gems and play for free, but the spenders were always ahead obviously. Now you cant make enough gems in 2 days to buy a defense chest so every free to play player is going to be wiped out in 2-3 days. This is a load of crap fix you trash game.

This game was great. Now, its dead. If youre looking to waste your time and money, thats the only reason left to play this game now. The developers have continued to make every bad decision possible and have effectively destroyed their own product. Lag, glitches, and wasteful decision making by the devs are the only thing youll find here.

Events - main source of gems in the game - went down without prior announcement for a good half of the week, with a follow-up announcement that system is down to implement "improvements" to event system with "enriched events content" to provide "more enjoyable experience in events" (copied wording from official announcement). Well, events are up as promised, but with incredible crappy rewards, almost no gems at all, higher benchmark requirements, no variety AT ALL as far as we have observed. Our world chat is discussing mass-quit, because seriously, the "improvements" have just killed the game. Well done!

Recent updates have made the game almost impossible to play. The developers say the recent changes to events is suppose to improve gameplay but all it does is require people to spend even more money. Almost all the kingdoms are going on a ceasefire and boycotting spending money on the game until the developers fix the things they ruined in the most recent update

Since the developers have changed the way the events go it is nearly impossible to reach the third level and earn the free gems. This means you have to purchase gem packages..not all people playing are able to spend a lot of money to play a game and there are people leaving the game because of this.

Game events used to make it to where those who didnt pay could be competitive. New rewards now tie their hands. Only people that pay can be competitive.

Due to recent updates, I give this game a very generous 1 star rating.

Terrible! Lags, redundant events, no updates, parts of the game do not even work! Horrible! Developers are worthless. Boycott all of their games, not just this one!

The reward events have changed today 9/9/16 making it impossible for new players and current players with low city force to compete in this game. You have to earn gems to buy shields to keep bigger players from farming your city and killing your troops. Now it is almost impossible to do that without spending money. I would not recommend this game.

This game was decent for many months when you could play for free and complete events to earn gems. The Devs have become greedy to the point that you must now spend $$ to even contend or survive in the game. This recent change has angered a lot of the War Ages community, including myself! This game is horrible the developers give out personal information to other players in other countries. When you mail the support team you never get a reply back. Ive been trying to get a refund after my information was given to someone else by the support team. I wish I had never started this game ever and I will not play any others like this one.

I used to love playing this game but with this latest update and events changing, its gonna be impossible to stay shielded. Thanks for ruining a perfectly good game.
